Boys and Girls Club of Parkersburg, W.Va. -
Kids Count Golf Classic

Kids County Golf ClassicKim Satterfield represented Greenpak, Inc. at the 11th annual Kid’s Count Golf Classic which was held at the Parkersburg Country Club on June 4, 2007 to raise funds for the Boys and Girls Club of Parkersburg, WV. The Boys and Girls Club realizes that many boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship in the streets. An increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people need to know that someone cares about them.

Boys & Girls Clubs offer that and more. Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence. Boys & Girls Clubs are a safe place to learn and grow – all while having fun. They are truly the positive place for kids. The Club Mission is to enable all young people, especially those with the greatest needs, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

The photo shown here is of the check for $140,000, which was raised by the golf classic. (Kim is in the back row, 3rd from the left). In addition, Kim and his fellow team members won the “C” flight. Congratulations and many thanks to Kim for supporting this worthwhile cause.
